My blog is here to help you have a good time. I love going to and playing live shows because the electricity that builds in the air is the most natural high I've ever experienced. I hunt for that electricity because I know in a city as big as this it is being dwelled in almost every night somewhere after sundown, and I am compelled to find it and point you in the right direction. All of the bands I am reviewing are people whose music I already like on the net. I'm not trying to say skip the show because the music initailly sucks or go the show because you will miss out on the next big thing if you dont. When I grade the show a skip it it doesn't mean the band was or is nessicerily bad but the crowd. It takes two to tango and if the band keeps trying hard but the crowd doesn't respond theres nothing I can do but observe the lack of electricity. Times are tough and we sometimes got to discriminate on who we want as our background noise for when we drink and dance. Also if I say trip it, that could very well mean that that particular show is worth seeing since that band is clearly on their way over the hill next tour. The grading I do and the stories I want to tell are not going to have an A, B, C, or D attitude towards how the bands and crowds are but more of a hit or miss. If I grade your show a dip it, that is generally how I feel. No one likes the guy in the corner with the notepad and snarky attitude and if you feel that I as a blogger am turing into that guy, let me know. I'm trying to help people get out of the house and see a good show and know where to spend their money doing it.
